Integrated & interactive campaign for adidas running.

adidas wanted to underline its unique proximity and commitment to marathon running and all sportsmen determined to achieve something extraordinary. The highs and lows experienced by runners during a marathon were the subject of the “face of the marathon” initiative. It focuses on the place where those experiences are most strikingly visible – in the faces of the runners. This was done at this year’s Berlin Marathon in September 2011 by fitting 15 participants with specially constructed cameras that enabled them to film themselves over the entire 42.195 km distance. The campaign was shown in real time on the internet.
